Randy Johnson

Randy Johnson is a partner and Investment Advisor Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® with more than 20 years of experience. Randy focuses on helping his clients grow and protect their hard-earned assets. He is driven by a passion for working with individuals and their families, identifying their financial goals, and developing a clear, concise financial plan to achieve them. Randy makes it a priority to educate his clients about building, protecting, and distributing their wealth, and he meets with each client at least annually, ensuring that the existing financial plan continues to reflect the client's or family's life circumstances. 

Randy graduated from the University of Kansas, earning a degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance. He went on to receive an MBA from Rockhurst University.

He holds several professional designations that demonstrate the additional training he has received to  help support clients' financial needs. The Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation was granted to Randy by The American College after he completed seven required courses and two electives on a broad array of financial planning topics. The Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation is awarded to individuals who want to specialize in insurance and estate planning. Randy completed five core courses and three electives, as well as passed a number of exams, to earn this credential.

Randy's Chartered Special Needs Consultant®(ChSNC®) designation means he has received training on how to address the unique issues of special needs families. Most recently, Randy earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. 

Randy lives in Overland Park with his wife, Mindy; son, Brayden; daughter, Grace; and their dog Cosmo. In his free time, Randy enjoys spending time with his family at their lake home in Warsaw, MO.
